Hey Nick!
Unfortunately the most recent OS I've managed to get the GP328 software running is Windows XP.

If you think the GP328 is bad, the GM950's almost sent me spiralling into insanity.
Windows 95 was the most modern OS I could run the software, and it needed to be run on real hardware. WHERE DO YOU FIND HARDWARE THAT CAN RUN WINDOWS 95?!
Anyhow... I digress. I'll get that tute written up once I get a free moment.

Essentially when its working there are two options: read config, write config. The GP328s have 'profiles', and the profiles tell the radio what each channel should do.
Once you program the in/out frequencies into a channel, you hit the 'write config' button and presto!
Setting the tone squelch stuff is probably the trickiest thing, but fairly self explanatory with trial and error.

Are you using a USB cable or a COM port?

Get error Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.

Lots of opinions and ideas, its just a matter of contrasting the ideas with the terms of use for various search engines, and seeing what works for you.
Thanks for reading.

Okay, cool. First thing to do is to calm down, and stop yelling.
See? Feels better already huh.
In windows XP there is no need for a driver if you are using a COM port with the software.
Don't try and detect the GP328, and just select the COM port in the programming software. Works for me every time.

You WILL need a driver if you are using a USB device - if that is the case, then I cannot help you.
All the best!

Hey.
I think it would run on Windows 7, but I'm not sure how much success you would have.
I use the software with Windows XP, as the only computer I have with a COM port these days is an old laptop. It works fine with that.
Best of luck!
